Whiskey Swizzle

Build, fill glass with crushed ice

1½ oz lime (or lemon) juice (4.5 cl)

1 tsp sugar (4 dashes)

2 oz soda (6 cl)

2 dashes aromatic bitters

2 oz rye or Bourbon whiskey (6 cl)

Stir until glass frosts

Fill with soda

Add mint sprigs

(Optional - liqueur such as curacao, orange, maraschino, brandy, etc.)

Serve in a tall glass (10.0 oz)
