
Negroni and the Goat
Stir in mixing glass with ice and strain
1½ oz gin (4.5 cl)
⅔ oz Aperol (2 cl)
⅔ oz sweet vermouth (2 cl)
½ oz Averna (1.5 cl)
Garnish with orange twist
Serve in a rocks glass (6.0 oz)
Notes:
This Negroni variation was created by chef Stephanie Izard as the June 2014 Negroni of the Month for the restaurant Nostrana, in Portland, Oregon. The name references another restaurant, Girl & the Goat in Chicago, where S. Izard was working as the executive chef. This drink originally was served straight-up.
