Build

½ oz water (1.5 cl)

½ tsp sugar, dissolved in water (2 dashes)

2 oz Port (6 cl)

Several ice cubes

Fill with soda

Float ½ oz brandy (1.5 cl)

Serve in a highball glass (9.0 oz)
