Defunct proprietary 19th century misliteration mistranscription of Boker's Bitters which appeared in the first and second editions of Jerry Thomas' cocktail recipe guides in 1862 1876, and subsequently in drink books quoting from those sources. Simply a corruption of "Bokers," this is a bitters brand that never existed!
