Proprietary brand of nonalcoholic carbonated, sweetened soda made with kola nuts, spices, and fruit flavorings. Noted by name in such cocktails as the Cuba Libre (Rum Coca Cola, so-called). Take note: the American version is sweetened with corn syrup, while notably, the Mexican Coke is sweetened with cane sugar, as was the Coca Cola made in the U.S. many years ago.
