Stir with ice and strain
1 lump of sugar. (½ oz, 1.5 cl)
1 glass rye or Canadian Club whiskey. (½ oz, 1.5 cl)
Stir and strain into another glass that has been cooled
squeeze lemon peel on top.
1 dash absinthe
Serve in a cocktail glass (4.5 oz)
