Rum Ramsey Cocktail
Stir in mixing glass with ice strain
1¾ oz light rum (5 cl)
¼ oz bourbon (6 dashes)
¼ oz fresh lime juice (6 dashes)
¼ tsp sugar (1 dash)
1 dash Peychaud bitters
Serve in a cocktail glass (4.5 oz)
Notes:
One Mixology.Recipes participant notes that the "Bon Ton Cafe in New Orleans... claims to have invented it and holds the recipe as a secret. My guess is the New Orleans origin prompted (the) Peychaud's bitters in it. I tried the drink with and without bitters and feel it tastes more like... the version I had at the Bon Ton (without)."
Therefore, the dash of Peychaud might be considered optional.
