Mulled Wine

Build

4 oz red wine, (12 cl)

1 tsp sugar, (4 dashes)

1 lemon twist, (½ oz, 1.5 cl)

1 pinch allspice, (½ oz, 1.5 cl)

1 cinnamon stick (½ oz, 1.5 cl)

3 cloves (1½ oz, 4.5 cl)

Heat but do not boil,

Note: Variations include the addition of a liquor spices of choice.

Traditionally, the mixture is heated by dipping a red hot iron poker into

it.

Serve in a mug (12.0 oz)
