Mulled Bourbon

Build

2 ½ oz madeira wine, (7.5 cl)

1 oz bourbon, (3 cl)

4 oz water, (12 cl)

1 tsp brown sugar. (4 dashes)

Heat, but do not boil,

Place lemon wedge, cloves, cinnamon stick in mug add hot mixture

Traditionally, the mixture is heated by dipping a red hot iron poker into

it.

Serve in a mug (12.0 oz)

Fans: Cointreau, blended Scotch, grapefruit juice
