Build

1½ oz gin (4.5 cl)

¼ tsp sugar or ¼ oz grenadine (both optional) (1 dash)

Squeeze ½ lime in glass (1½ oz, 4.5 cl)

Add ½ lime shell (1½ oz, 4.5 cl)

Fill with ice, soda

Serve in a highball glass (9.0 oz)
