High proof rum used for flaming or flavoring drinks. Most commonly-known brands are utterly awful. The only acceptable 151 proof rums are the high proof Demeraras from Guyana. Lemonhart 151 Proof Demerara Rum is one such brand. Only true Demerara 151 proof rums are recommended for quality cocktails.
